Basement Watchdog (Glentronics) · Sump / Well Pump
Battery light + alarm
Battery low or faulty
The controller thinks the battery has very little pumping time left or has failed. On older units this alarm cannot be silenced; newer units also show a charge gauge.
Basement Watchdog (Glentronics) · Sump / Well Pump
Fuse light + alarm
Backup pump fuse blown
The DC fuse on the back of the control unit has blown, so the backup pump cannot run.
Basement Watchdog (Glentronics) · Sump / Well Pump
Power light + alarm
No AC power to the controller
The charger/controller is not getting AC, so the battery is not being charged.

Franklin Electric · Sump / Well Pump
F1
Motor underload
The motor is drawing less current than the drive's minimum, which usually means the pump is not moving water.
Franklin Electric · Sump / Well Pump
F2
Undervoltage
Incoming voltage between L1 and L2 dropped below about 180 VAC. The drive wants roughly 190-260 VAC.
Franklin Electric · Sump / Well Pump
F3
Overcurrent / locked pump
Motor current stayed above its maximum even after the drive slowed down, so the drive stopped it.
Franklin Electric · Sump / Well Pump
F5
Output open phase
One or more motor leads carry little or no current.
Franklin Electric · Sump / Well Pump
F6
Short circuit
A short exists between motor leads or from a lead to ground.
Franklin Electric · Sump / Well Pump
F27
Pressure transducer signal out of range
The 4-20 mA pressure sensor signal is outside its valid range.
