Safety notice

Appliance repair involves electrical, mechanical, thermal and, in some appliances, gas and refrigerant hazards. Always disconnect power before testing for continuity or resistance, or removing parts.
Microwave ovens contain a high-voltage capacitor that can hold a lethal charge after the unit is unplugged. Do not open a microwave cabinet unless you are trained to discharge it safely.
TV power supplies can store dangerous voltage. Internal TV work is for trained technicians.
Gas appliances: OnCall Tech does not provide procedures for gas lines, valves, regulators or gas pressure. If you smell gas, do not operate switches, shut off the supply if it is safe to do so, ventilate, leave the building and call your gas utility from outside.
Sealed refrigerant systems: under EPA Section 608, servicing that may release refrigerant requires certification. OnCall Tech only helps diagnose these faults and refers them to certified technicians.
