Whirlpool WEE515S0L / WEE750H0H 30-inch slide-in electric range: quick sheet
Covers: Whirlpool 30-inch slide-in smooth-top electric ranges with front controls: WEE515S0L* (WEE515S0LS stainless; 4.8 cu ft, two FlexHeat dual elements, self-clean) and WEE750H0H* (WEE750H0HZ fingerprint-resistant stainless, WEE750H0HW white, revision WEE750H0HZ1 seen; 6.4 cu ft, true convection, FlexHeat triple element). Canadian versions carry a Y prefix (YWEE515S0LS, YWEE750H0HZ). The gas sibling WEG515S0L is not covered. Search terms: WEE515, WEE750, WEE750H0HZ, WEE515S0LS.
Two common Whirlpool slide-ins: no backguard, controls on the front, glass-ceramic top, electronic oven control with the Whirlpool F#E# fault format. The WEE750H0H adds a convection fan and element and a 6/9/12 in triple-ring front element. Diagnosis is the Whirlpool electric-range pattern: oven sensor (RTD), bake and broil elements, element switches, door lock, cooling fan and supply wiring (F9E0 means a supply miswire or open leg).
Safety first
- Turn off the breaker before panels come off; a range has two hot legs.
- Live voltage checks at the terminal block or relays are caution work.
- Reinstall the anti-tip bracket after any move.
- Let elements and glass cool before handling.
How it works
240 V split-phase supply; the elements run on 240 V, the control and lights on 120 V. A missing leg or bad neutral can show as F9E0 or odd heating.
Oven temperature: the control reads an RTD sensor at the rear of the cavity and cycles bake and broil (and the convection element and fan on WEE750H0H) through relays.
Cooktop: front knobs drive element switches; FlexHeat elements have inner and outer rings selected by the switch position.
Self-clean locks the door with a motorized lock and runs high heat; a cooling fan protects the controls.
