Broan Glacier BCSQ1 series (BCSQ130/BCSQ136) under-cabinet range hood: quick sheet
Covers: Broan Glacier BCSQ130SS (30 in) and BCSQ136 (36 in) and color versions. At least one retailer lists the BCSQ130SS as discontinued. The general Broan-NuTone under-cabinet sheet in the library covers older lines.
Convertible under-cabinet hood: 375 CFM blower, 3 push-button speeds, 2 LED lights, about 1.5 sones at normal speed. Ducted (7 in round; 3-1/4 x 10 in also listed), or non-ducted with Broan's optional recirculation filters. Calls are mostly speed switch, lights, weak suction (duct) and noise.
Safety first
- Turn the circuit off at the breaker before opening the wiring box or the blower housing.
- Let the cooktop cool; hood filters and surfaces get hot and greasy.
- Ducts must end outdoors through a proper cap (never in an attic, soffit or wall cavity); metal duct only.
How it works
Single blower with mechanical push-button speed selection (low/medium/high).
Convertible: vertical or horizontal ducting, or recirculating with the optional non-ducted filter kit.
Mount at the height range in the BCSQ installation instructions (not confirmed by two sources here).
