Daikin's mid-tier ductless line. Fault codes are two characters (letter + number) read with the remote's self-diagnosis or shown on a wired remote; wireless installs flash the indoor operation lamp.

Safety first

  • 230 V and inverter capacitors: lock out and wait before touching boards.
  • Refrigerant work is blocked: EPA 608-certified technician only.

How it works

Inverter compressor and fans modulate; indoor and outdoor boards communicate over the connecting cable.

When a fault occurs the operation lamp flashes; the code is retrieved with the remote's self-diagnosis procedure from the service manual.

Freeze-up protection (A5) and heating peak-cut control limit operation when the indoor coil gets too cold or too hot.
