Santa Fe Compact70 and Advance90 crawlspace / basement dehumidifiers: quick sheet
Covers: Santa Fe (Therma-Stor) Compact70 and Advance90 stand-alone units used in encapsulated crawlspaces and basements; optional condensate pump kit shared across the Santa Fe line. Newer A2L-refrigerant versions exist; check the nameplate.
Commercial-grade units sold through contractors and crawlspace companies. Rated at AHAM conditions (80 F / 60% RH), so real crawlspace output is lower. They need a drain (gravity with trap, or the optional pump) and run MERV 13 filtration. Sealed-system failures are warranty/contractor work.
Safety first
- Unplug before service.
- Crawlspaces: watch for wet floors and exposed wiring; use GFCI-protected power.
- Sealed-system work is blocked (EPA 608).
How it works
A compressor, evaporator and condenser in a compact cabinet remove water; a remote or onboard humidistat cycles the unit. Auto-defrost lets the units keep working into cool spaces; the manufacturer quotes operation down to about 49 F, with best performance from about 56 F up.
Condensate drains by gravity through a hose with a trap, or through an optional external condensate pump with its own float switch that only runs when water is present.
Advance90 can be ducted (dual exhaust outlets) or stand alone. Both auto-restart after a power outage.
