Samsung WF45B6300-series front-load washer (WF45B6300AW / AC / AP): quick sheet

Samsung's 2022 mid-range front-loader with direct-drive motor, steam cycles, Super Speed (a full load in about 28 minutes per the retailer listing), Vibration Reduction Technology+ and Wi-Fi/SmartThings. Safety first

  • Unplug the washer and shut both taps before opening any panel.
  • Drain through the pump filter into a pan before pulling hoses; water may be hot.
  • Live-voltage checks at the board, valve or motor connectors are caution work.
  • Get help moving the cabinet.

How it works

The inlet valve fills through the detergent drawer while the pressure sensor tracks level; the door must lock before fill. The drum is turned by a direct-drive motor bolted to the back of the tub, with the board reading rotor position.

Steam cycles heat water with the internal heater to create steam in the tub; a failed heater or sensor shows as HE/HC or tE/tC codes and cold or steam-less cycles.

Before spin the board checks balance; Vibration Reduction Technology+ and the suspension limit movement, and an uneven or small load produces UE/Ub. Top spin is 1,200 rpm.

Self Clean+ is a tub-clean cycle the unit reminds the owner to run; skipping it is a common cause of odor complaints.
