Samsung Bespoke DW80B7070 (DW80B7070US / AP) dishwasher: quick sheet
Covers: Samsung Bespoke 24 in DW80B7070* built-in dishwashers (US stainless and AP panel-ready variants with Bespoke color panels), StormWash+, Smart Dry with AutoRelease door. Samsung 'B' (2022) generation.
A 42 dBA, 15-place-setting Samsung with stainless tub, three racks, StormWash+ with a rotating spray jet, Wi-Fi, a digital leak sensor and AutoRelease, which pops the door open near the end of the cycle to let steam out. Many 'not drying' and 'door won't stay shut' calls on this model are about AutoRelease settings, leveling or cabinet clearance.
Safety first
- Breaker off before panels come off.
- Close the water supply before valve work.
- Let the heater area cool.
- Do not force the door shut while the AutoRelease rods are extended.
How it works
Wash: StormWash+ uses upper, middle and lower wash arms plus a rotating spray jet for heavy soil. Programs listed: Auto, Normal, Heavy, Delicate, Express 60, Pre Blast and a downloadable cycle; options include Hi-Temp Wash, Sanitize (NSF), Lower Rack, Delay and Control Lock.
Heat: Samsung lists an 1100 W heater, a 60-100 W circulation motor and a 35 W drain pump on the spec sheet. Supply water should not be hotter than about 176 °F; Samsung flags overly hot supply as a code.
Smart Dry with AutoRelease: warm air is circulated and, during the last 5-15 minutes, an actuator pushes the door open about 5 inches. The setting must be on. While the rods are extended, forcing the door shut can damage the mechanism, and some Samsung manuals say the door cannot be closed for about 2 minutes after release.
Protection: a leak sensor in the base reports LC/LE; the control also watches fill (flow meter), drain and temperature and shows two-character codes.
