How it works

The door locks, then the inlet valve fills through the dispenser while the pressure sensor tracks level. AI fabric sensing sets the wash motion from the load.

LG's Direct Drive motor (rotor on the back of the tub, stator on the tub, hall sensor) turns the drum with no belt; top spin is 1,300 rpm per retailer listings.

Steam cycles feed water to a steam generator that injects steam into the tub; scale or a failed heater means steam cycles without steam.

Error logic follows LG's front-load list: OE drain, IE fill, UE unbalance, LE motor locked, dE door, PE pressure sensor, tE temperature.
