Electrolux EFLS627-series front-load washer: quick sheet
Covers: Electrolux EFLS627UTT (Titanium) Perfect Steam front-load washer, including the EFLS627UTT1 revision seen in parts catalogs. Sold roughly 2020 onward as the washer half of the EFME627/EFMG627 pair; now listed as discontinued by some retailers.
A 27-inch, 4.4 cu ft stackable front-loader with LuxCare wash, SmartBoost premixing, an Adaptive Dispenser and steam. It is built on the Frigidaire/Electrolux front-load platform, so the E-code families (fill E1x, drain E2x, pressure E3x, door E4x, motor E5x) carry over. Deep diagnostics: see the Frigidaire / Electrolux front-load washer field service manual.
Safety first
- Unplug before removing panels
- Water and the heater can be hot after sanitize or steam
- Keep hands out during high-spin tests
How it works
Start: the door lock engages (E40/E41 if it does not), then fill runs through the dispenser while the pressure sensor tracks level; SmartBoost premixes detergent and water before it reaches the clothes.
Wash: the drum tumbles with low water; an internal heater supports Sanitize and steam options. The water temperature sensor feeds the control.
Drain and spin: the front pump drains through a filter (E20/E21 on drain faults), then the motor control ramps the drum and checks motor speed feedback (E5x on motor/tach faults).
