Beko / Blomberg dishwasher: field service manual
Covers: Beko (e.g. DDT, DUT families) and Blomberg (e.g. DWT family) 24 in built-in dishwashers sold in the US. Beko and Blomberg share an owner group and many parts; some drain pumps are listed for both brands.
A European-style tall-tub design with a single wash pump feeding both spray arms through a removable filter stack, a separate drain pump and one drain route. The most reported call is water left in the tub at the end of the cycle, usually from the filter stack over the pump inlet or the drain path. Code meanings differ between sources and model generations, so treat codes as pointers and confirm on the model's literature.
Safety first
- Cut power and dry the base tray before inspecting: water and electrical parts share the base.
How it works
Fill through the inlet valve; wash by one circulation pump to both arms through the filter stack; drain by a separate drain pump.
Drain diagnosis by ear: a pump that is moving water changes note as the sump empties. A tone that never changes through the drain phase points to a restriction (filter, hose, disposer knockout).
The base tray holds the electrical section as well as any leaked water. Cut power and dry the tray before inspecting.
