GE JS760 (SL/SP/DP/EL) 30 in electric slide-in convection range: quick sheet
Covers: GE JS760SLSS, JS760SPSS, JS760DPWW and related generations. Most published specs are for the SL/DP versions; confirm the SP (no-preheat air fry) version in its own installation manual. GE range F-codes in the library apply.
GE's mainstream radiant smoothtop slide-in: front controls, convection oven, warming zone, and a 9/6 in Power Boil dual element. Field calls: elements and infinite switches/control, sensor and bake/broil elements, door lock on self-clean.
Safety first
- 240 V: turn the breaker off and verify dead at the terminal block before opening any panel; the oven and cooktop share the supply.
- Anti-tip bracket must be installed and engaged before the range is returned to service.
- Use a cord or hardwire kit matching the house wiring (3-wire or 4-wire) and the range's rating; see range-cord-3-wire-vs-4-wire.
How it works
Radiant elements under the glass; the 9/6 in dual element switches between inner ring only and both rings.
Center warming zone is low-wattage (about 100 W) and is for holding, not cooking.
Convection oven with a rear fan; GE F-codes report sensor, key and door-lock faults.
