Beko DUT25401X (DUT25401XHW) 48 dBA front-control dishwasher: quick sheet

Covers: Beko 24-inch built-under full-console front-control DUT25401X and DUT25401XHW (stainless). DDT25401X is the top-control sibling. Sold approx. late 2010s to early 2020s (inferred from listings; one large retailer lists it as no longer available). Find the model/serial tag on the tub edge inside the door. Build-date reading from the serial is not stated here (not confirmed by two sources for this family); see the guide find-model-and-serial-number-on-any-appliance.

Single sourceBrands: Beko8 components

Beko's entry tall-tub model: 14 place settings, 48 dBA, five programs, full front console with pocket handle. One retailer adds an inverter (brushless) wash motor, a turbidity sensor and static (condensation) drying; those are single-source here. Beko US code meanings are not well documented (our E01/E02 entries are unverified), so work from the symptom and the tech sheet. See the Beko / Blomberg dishwasher field service manual for the platform.

Safety first

  • Switch off the circuit (or unplug) and close the water supply before removing the kick plate or pulling the unit.
  • Hardwired units: open the junction box only with the breaker off and verified dead.
  • Water in the sump may be hot right after a cycle; the heating element stays hot for a while.
  • Live-voltage checks at the valve, pump, heater or board are caution work.
  • Watch for broken glass in the filter and sump.
  • Flood risk: keep towels down and confirm no leaks after reconnecting.

How it works

Tub and racks: tall tub; check the owner manual for rack layout (not confirmed by two sources).

Pump and wash: inlet valve fills the sump; the wash motor drives the spray arms; a separate drain pump empties the sump. Five programs with delay start (single-source detail).

Filtration: manual-clean filter in the tub floor (Beko family design; clean it at every complaint of poor washing or slow drain).

Drying: listed by one retailer as static (condensation) drying: rinse aid matters and plastics stay damp.

Controls: full front console with push buttons and display.

Whirlpool family dishwashers: reading Clean-light flash codes, F#E# displays and the diagnostic cycle

Models with a display show the code as F#E#. Lights-only models blink one LED in two groups: the first group is the F (function) number, a short pause, then the E (error) number, then a long pause before it repeats. A diagnostic cycle on many of these controls is entered by pressing any three keys in a 1-2-3 order three times quickly, which lights all indicators and lets you run the cycle to watch each function.

GE appliances: reading and recalling fault codes on dishwashers and laundry

GE dishwashers with electronic controls show codes on the display (C1, H2O, PF and similar) or flash the Start/Reset light in counted groups on LED-only models. GE itself splits codes into ones the user can clear (delay, detergent cup, power failure, kinked hose) and ones that need service. GE laundry generations differ a lot: older top-loaders flash LEDs, front-loaders keep a stored-code list inside a test mode. Entry sequences vary between GE models and the sources disagree, so take them only from the model's tech sheet.

Frigidaire / Electrolux: diagnostic mode, last-fault recall and relay-test codes that are not faults

Newer Frigidaire/Electrolux dishwashers show i-codes (i10, i20, i50 and similar) and two-letter codes; during the relay test inside diagnostic mode they also show short codes that only confirm the test is running and are not faults. Front-load washers keep a last-code readout you reach with a button pair or knob position. Refrigerators lose the fault code when the plug is pulled. Entry sequences differ by model and the sources conflict, so get them from the service data sheet on the unit.
