Known issue: myQ opener stopped working with Home Assistant and other third-party apps (Chamberlain blocked access in 2023)

In late 2023 Chamberlain Group blocked unofficial access to its myQ cloud, saying unauthorized integrations were a tiny share of users but more than half of system traffic. Home Assistant removed its myQ integration in release 2023.12. Official partner integrations (such as Alarm.com, Resideo, Ring, Vivint and IFTTT, per trade press) continued. The opener is not broken; the fix is an approved integration or a local control device.

On opening, photo eyes do not matter, so a mid-travel stop is almost always force: the opener sensed more effort than it learned. Look for a door that binds, stiff cold lubricant, ice in the track or a spring problem before touching settings. Only then reprogram travel/force.
