Beeps come from the battery backup: running on battery, low battery or a worn-out battery. Replace the 12 V battery when the LED is solid red.

Before you start

Unplug the opener before swapping the battery.
Connect red to red and black to black; reversed leads can blow the backup fuse.
Recycle the old lead-acid battery.
